Betrayal Passed
Shades down upon a scene we once believed
Weighs heavy on the wound that is deceit
Pull the rope hard to make the curtains close
Fragments of your flesh knows path that it froze
The members have died and grown
In time the saga will be unknown
We live in its shadow of trusting
While the shiny metal is now rusting
With a pungent odour, the door of destruction seeps
Deciding the parts of our soul we can keep
Core of the human spirit, imprinted like branding
Never to feel the malfunction that occurred before crash landing
