When we married in church you swore a solemn vow, now you’ve left me in the lurch shacking up with that vile cow. In front of the lawyer you just lied crocodile tears shed, how you cried your betrayal of us can’t be denied You launched a vitriolic attack stabbing me cruelly in the back scruples are the one thing you lack It’s for honesty I now search - I find trust so difficult now Family life you cast aside abandoning me and our son Jack FICTION POEM – I started another poem but found it too emotional to write about the real betrayal in my life by my sister Fragmented Rhyme contest Sponsored by Dear Hear a k a Broken Wings 11/3/18

You are so right Tom, and despite the fact she has everything materially my life is far richer than hers in so so many ways. I started the poem about her and abandoned it but the 2nd and 3rd stanzas are part of what I wrote lol:-) hugs jan xx

Aye, Hell hath no fury like an human scorned! People are well shed of anyone who disparages them, and family and friends tend to twist the blade. The search for someone you can trust is a lifelong quest, but good luck - (as well as in the contest)! Aloha! Rico

I've been with my hubby for nearly 30 years and we have both had betrayal from our families but the main thing is we have eachother and our wonderful son and i still have my amazing mum - as for my sister all I feel for her is pity:-( hugs jan xx
