Betrayal

Friend no more deceiver your betrayal like a sharp dagger thrust through my tender skin you were the rope that saved me when tidal waves crashed on my shore now, heartbroken, will I trust again?

Dear Rhonda, thank you for your kind comment. Your Betrayal poem is a sad one. We must continue to trust in life. I have been at the hands of a betrayer, and it's hard when that betrayer was your husband. However, we still need to continue to trust and move forward in life. Thank God he is always there to comfort us. God bless & Love, Maureen x

I believe the Lord is telling me something. You are the third person this week who has told me to move forward, to not live in the past. Then, tonight my pastor preached about moving forward. I think I need to do more than listen. Time for action. Thank you for the words of wisdom. Blessings, Rhonda

There is nothing worse, than being hurt by someone this close to one's heart. Well spoken in this heartbreaking poem!

I almost used the et tu Brutus line but thought it sounded predictable, a little cliche. Thanks for your kind comments, Rhonda :)
