Bethlehem's Star

Bethlehem’s star 
luminous cross delicately hung
by cherubs adorning a cold night sky

The warmth of a promise yet to be fulfilled
lured shepherds and wise men alike
to a humble manger
where a Savior drew his first breath
exhaling in the bitter air
of a world He sought to save

Just a few miles to the north, there is a town called Nazareth, PA. Somehow, these two towns came to my mind while reading your fine work.
