Bet

You said it was pointless to continue to talk Time to get on your feet and walk the final walk Time to let go and give up the past That the memories were fading and soon wouldn't last... You said I was someone you would instantly forget But all I could think in my head, was "BET" Bet you'll wake up lonely in the middle of the night Bet your lips will be wishing they touched mine Bet when you are with her, I will slip into your mind Not as easy as ya thought, leaving me behind... Bet your heart aches when you think of me Bet it hurts so bad you struggle as you breathe Bet it takes a lifetime to forget the we did Every hug, every laugh, every stupid kiss... Bet you can replace me but not quite erase what I meant to you And that'll be your greatest torment no matter what you do So walk away in silence, who knows, maybe you are right This all isn't worth it, what a waste of time...
