Sweeping black and blue imagery! Love the velvet! Reminds me of when I collected seashells the first time on the Florida coast and my Aunt Elaine told me I should glue them on black velvet. Congratulations, SV!

Anne-Lise with you and all the other wonderful poets on Soup, I never count on a place in a competition. What I do dearly love is encouraging comments like you just gave me.
