Beset a Clear Moonlit Night

Beset a clear moonlit night Aloneness Warm, comforting, like the slow rise of a sleeping child’s belly Between fence and dream, both showing signs of decay Shadows cast, embroidered in grass, of this generation and the next There is no prettier landscape than one that is dying The canvas is black and still, no star only satellite
