Beneath the Stars
Its hard to
understand when the hearts
faith is absent
It's Difficult to view when there
is no will to see
This is a feeling beyond my
understanding, yet I know I
need you
My heart shivers at the thought
that u aren't for me
Your beautiful smile glows light
unto my world, where are you
Still the days pass and I not
fade from you, would it, can it
be fate
You can only do so much and
then comes God
He knows what I feel for you,
still you wonder of my integrity
Is not the color of the sky blue,
does it not shift towards black
as the sun sets to bed
Feel my spirit that shakes as
you near, I think I love you
Your name is on my mind and
your image in my heart
Still I wonder if and when I will
see you again, face to face
This feeling I just can't shake
and I ask why?
I only want to know if I too
hold a piece in your heart if my
image hangs too on your line of
hope
All isn't lost, if faith is lost but
not forgotten
I dream of holding you,
Of keeping you close to my heart
Perhaps fill my other empty
half
To kiss you beneath the aging
stars that have stood witness
to history and it's making
In hopes the moonlight will
caress our bodies as we create
love to it's highest point
Making love to you,
for in my eyes you are the
woman I want to grow old next
to
My eyes are for no other except
you, a completion of spirit and
mind
Let then my soul dream for
that is free and know that in
my heart I am in love with you
Pause this world and hold my
hand, open your heart to me
beneath these skies while they
weep over this falling world
where men stand cheap
Honor is lost and so is love
I pen to you and for you
amongst fallen hopes, and
broken dreams lost long ago
My heart aches, still I walk in joy
because I have you in my life
Good night then my love,
dream as I will
