Beneath the branches
You'll find me under the stars
Beneath the branches of a willow tree
Longing for something
That'll never be seen
2 parts slave
1 part free
Forgotten by lovers
Forgotten by me
Wrapped in a blanket of roots and earth
A pillow of twine
No shoes
Jeans and a shirt
I'll wait for thee
Beneath this willow tree
In hopes
You'll bring me
A dream
To believe
