Beneath the Arbor

Beneath the Arbor

Here on this
melodic morning,
blue birds sing
among the trees

Irises
and honeysuckle,
wave good day
upon a breeze

Butterflies
on tulip petals,
softly float
a lemon sky

While we kiss
beneath the arbor,
as the sunrise
wanders by
