Beneath
Under canopy of rainfall
A world of tears I showered...
...and though we'd never met...
...you sent me all your strength...
I was like a wilting rainbow
without a sky to share...
My heart and soul just somehow knew
a new life to prepare...
My heart watched and waited...
My soul listened with intent...
Just beneath the surface
a love born was heaven sent...
My love for you relentless...
All future hope restored...
My rainbow full of colour...
It is you that I adore...
