Bending, Swaying

Here I sit within this grove
Trees around me with leaves of green
Nature is a treasure trove
Gold around that's clearly seen
Bending, Swaying

Foliage of different hues
Lie amidst this earthy ground
Fruit to eat; whate'er you choose
Nature does not make a sound
Bending, Swaying

Oh serenity so true
Stay with me one moment more
There's so much I have to lose
Nothing left worth fighting for
Bending, Swaying

So I shall remain right here
Underneath these blessed trees
Leaves of green that bring me cheer
Naught shall bring me to my knees
Bending, Swaying
