MUSINGS ON A BENCH Poetry Contest

Bench at Sunset

Beneath the budding maple's gentle shade,
A bench awaits where springtime dreams are sewn.
Soft petals swirl and gather at my feet,
A spot where sun and breezes entwine.
Songbirds sing of warmth and skies anew,
Fresh emerald grass displayed in morning
Here, time slows down to watch the world rebirth,
A springtime bench, my haven at twilight.
