Belongs To You

The knife blade
Glinting in the light,
I feel it slide it's way into my throat.
I awake with a silent scream.
And before I have a chance to catch my breath
You wrap your strong arms around me,
And hold tight
I feel your warm strength
Quickly calming me down.
I look deep into your eyes and see
So many things I can not explain.
The way you hold my gaze,
Shows me that you care.
But as sleep takes over once more
Again, the knife shines
But just before the tool of death
Reaches it goal in my neck
I see the face of my assailant
And the face.....
Belongs to you
