Believe Your Heart

So calculated so planned that man, Never telling a soul what he truly comprehends, From years of watching his elders survival, He masterfully knows how to cheer on a revival, And smiles so gracefully to draw ppl in, They all gauk he's so kind as if he lives with no sin, The compliments egg him on and so his ego grows, And no one sees the damage it's done to him unless you and him are alone, The self righteous behavior and unwillingness to care, It's his way or the highway and I've seen him in his underwear, The attention he's acquired created a monster, And until you shut the door behind you alone with him you will never see what's under, Because he's already made a name for himself that he's too busy living up to, And he's so scared to leave it all behind because he will have to face everything he's been through, Not just that but facing who he truly is, It's easy to become a nobody if you're willing to sacrifice for love in order to live, And walk away from the attention if you know that's the poison, But it's all he knows from generations ago, thinking it's his heritage and family fortune, Walls built up from every angle, he knows the poison he feeds, Now break those chains, become a nobody and fix your family tree, Believe your heart.... it's worth it.
