Believe Me

Believe Me

I start to rant
As another phase is past
Believe me
as I rush and pant
leaving me no rest
as another day is spent
My soul oftentimes is vexed
hopping and thumping in his nest
Believe me
as l sought out
often to amend
reaching out to my very best
Believe me
as l try to relieve me
of this circular trial
riding me only to detest
