Believe
I believe you will come back
Even though you left so long ago
Vowing to never return
And cursing your homeland.
I believe you can hear my cries
Begging you to come back
To hold me once again in your arms
And to feel my lips on yours.
I believe you dream of me
Hear my voice in the wind
See my face in the water
And feel my heart beating in your chest.
I believe you truly love me
Your heart just doesn't know it yet
I believe in you
And I always will
