Belief

The valley I walk
Deceives truth
Of who I am
And my purpose

Encouraging and lifting others, is
Direction i’ve been charged with
     BUT
How do I comfort and affirm
When my soul has holes of emptiness?

    Trusting in my Savior
The One who wrote the blueprint
Of my calling and mission
Is how I get through the darkness of life

I believe in the One who set me free
     Yet
Petitioning Him to help
Where there’s unbelief

Battling the mind in spiritual warfare
While staying covered by the blood
     Of the Cross
Is the only way
To make it day-by-day

He is made strong in my weakness!

      - My belief
