Beleive In Yourself

why must I fix the world
when it only breaks me
I've tried to be the girl
everyone expects me to be
I've made mistakes
but that's what makes me
who I've always been meant to be
why I love the broken people
has always been a mystery
but the reason is
I know how it feels
when no one believed in me
I gave up, I let go, there was no reason to impress
all my good deeds and confidence began to regress
how can you succeed when everyone expects you to fail
why must you keep trying why not just bail
bail like everyone who gave up on you
because you are not who others want you to be
you'll become the image that you want to see

if there is no one that believes in you
you'll always have yourself but you can always count on me too
