Being Usefull

There is too much energy in these lively fingers of mine
For me to sit and twiddle my thumbs.
I wish to put them to use somehow, sometime
Whatever the job, however it comes.

I want to become important to someone,
Anyone, in any shape or form.
To be a hero to someones daughter or son,
To help them differentiate themselves from the norm.

To instill in their hearts positivity
When hope seems hard to find.
To help them see the possibility
Of being their best by leaving nothing good behind.

This is what I see on my lifes horizon
Making my own life a mark for someone elses comparison.
