Being Sixteen In the Summer
the smell of suntan lotion
scream of seagulls
uneven sand walking
blowing up an inner tube forever
looking at swimming suits
loving it that we drove out here
without our parents
for the first time
feeling grown up
on the beach
welcoming summer
tasting freedom
