Being Me

I always question myself,
Because others seem to disapprove,
Of things I say,
That upsets them,

I never walk away,
If i'm upset with you,
I guess life goes on,
I can't make everyone happy,

Especially not today,
I have a big mouth,
And know how to use it,
But if I didn't bother you so bad,

Then why you getting mad,
I'm sick and tired,
Of a lot of stuff,
If someone would take time,

And see if from my point of view,
I am different,
And special,
Why can't someone see this is me,

I was only trying to make a difference,
I don't think,
I should be anywhere,
Just because nobody seems to care,

Shut my mouth all the time,
When nothing seems right,
But in all honesty,
I am being just me...

"I don't think I should be anywhere just because nobody seems to care." What a sadly informal world we live in. Hooray for being different! So far as I'm concerned, your are special. Love, daver
