Being Japanese

All Japanese people use ancient glacial ice Mined from miles below the arctic circle By sophisticated machinery and drills Core samples are their way of life Core values is a reason for holding on Being Japanese is being Japanese Is being grounded in their condition In sushi bars and Geisha nights delights Fine whiskey over arctic ice Their world is upside down In fact, the bottom of the globe Gravity holds Japan in place Nowhere near the United States "Ikiai" is the meaning "reason for being" Turning Japanese is pleasing I think I'm turning Japanese Men and women think alike They would like to live in peace With machinery and luxuries To live forever with chunks of ice In reality we are all just Asians In need of gravity to keep from falling off The bottom of the world seems dangerous Please send the people glue and sticky stuff All things being equal we need adhesives It's not easy being Japanese
