Being Human

Bliss is what we seek as human beings even though

Ephemeral is our earthly journey when we begin as

Infants gaining knowledge through guidance and experience,

Needing to receive love and then reciprocate it if we are to

Grow to understand our purpose beyond this speck of time.

How can we fulfill our destiny or achieve any measure of greatness

Unless we truly understand how much we are loved by God?

Mankind has endured eons not always grasping our importance

As parents to instill in our children not just knowledge but love’s real meaning.

Nothing but unselfish love will help us to realize the eternal bliss we seek.

Perspective is being human isn't it? And appreciating and tolerating and surviving. Love is the budding blossom that eternally reminds us that we are equal. You have reiterated the constant need for remembering our humanity. Although, our being human does that all the time. :) Peace and Love.

Good luck in the contest! Ephemeral - in the Jewish prayer book it is "the dream that flies away". Peace & Love Matthew Anish

I love the searching feel in not only your age old question, but comments. Somehow without saying it, you captured the 'searching' quality in all human hearts. I am thinking of you extra much right now! Love ... CayCay

from my perspective we are a creature that has both heaven and hell flowing through our veins, we have been loving each other since our arrival on earth, we've been killing each other since our arrival on earth..good luck in the contest
