Being a Lonely Asteroid

Billions of years in the universe of time, millions of solar systems
galaxies, living stars, dead stars, speeding starlights of dead worlds

My solitude is this life, scud through in infinity, in the space, a cold life
I am just a pebble, like my brothers in the ocean. This is our life

No one understands us. Suffering my asteroid heart. I can’t land
I can’t find a stable place for my billions of years old life. Oh God!

I can’t find a heart, a lifemate, a love, a woman, I can’t create a family
Because I have to move always. My end is the scud, the speed. Hmm

No stop. Never. Just go, go, go… No time to die. But I need. Long this
Hmm. My nature, my life is my end. If I land, then I will explode

Nothing will remain of my life
Just my invisible grave in the crater

Hmm
This is
The Poor
Asterid
Life

I will continue my life
In the ocean

' Nothing will remain and stay of my life. ' So sad to think about. It does have a purpose, like we have one. Your thoughts are tender and emotional, all at the same time. Congratulations Vilmos, on Poem of the Day. My best to you. ~ Brandy

Vilmos, your “Hmm” is a pulse, a breath, a sigh. And, the paradox of needing rest but being condemned to motion is a real mess you've gotten yourself into, but not by choice. Your creativity is deep like outer space and the ocean...enjoy your POTD achievement.

Yep, it's hard being a pebble here on the third rock from the sun! What I could do with a cosmic kite, but it still couldn't cuddle me at night. I too am just a lonely rolling stone, here on my own, heart chapped and wind blown. Take solace in your POTD my rambling rock writer. Write on!

Hello Vilmos, Congrats on POTD. It's such a beautiful and tragic metaphor for a life spent in constant motion, unable to find a home or connection. I found the final lines about continuing in the ocean are so poignant and full of longing. Blessings, Vilmos, Daniel
