The last train for the night, Is about to leave for home, You ask yourself “Be safe and go”, Or “Stay in the dark alone”, So you walk these alleys, these alien streets, The bleak, the black, the cold, And realise your life is here to hunt, Down every winding road, Away from “safe” existing in walls, Away from the nine to five, Your life is the ramshackle shed in a field, Painting love to keep alive, Your life is meant to be a flash of light, A beautifully hypnotic noise, To enjoy, to fight, to fulfil, to dare, Your life is all your choice.
