Behind the Burnished Moon With You

Just to the North of yonder star

six rainbows form a bow

tails dipping down to wrap

me up and take me home

to you,

Flamingos fly beside me

 their bulbous eyes

so brilliant in the dawn.

I smile at wizards in the

clouds,

charging their pointed hats

inwith stolen stars,

fluffing out their capes at

purple puffins

waddling over worlds below

thoughtless of the thunder rolling

in the East,

yes ,I am afraid,

and yet what shall I do?

I want to be with you.....

and you are there...,somewhere,

off behind the burnished

moon.
