Beginning of Adam and Eve

People call me the descendant of hell
A ugly monster with no heart…
She holds her body tight
a tear trickles along her cheek
She then stares at the face in the creek
A creature stares back
A monster
A newly conceived eve
one who only eats apples
Her forbidden fruit….
she takes a deep breath
and walks away from the creek
Humming one of her favorite lullabies
 she learned as a child
it comforted her in a way
trees surrounded her for miles
she followed the trail of stones back to her cave
her humming abruptly stopped
when she neared the caves entrance
She smiled
A man had arrived
Thus the beginning of Adam and Eve
