Begin With a Breakthrough

Say a heartfelt "adieu"
to the weight you used to accrue.
Downsize to widen your view,
but keep your barbeque.
For everything, say "Thank you."
Keep your heart and hopes new 
with love and laughter to pursue.
Begin this year with a breakthrough
and be relieved with a "whew!"
