Beg Pardon
When I spoke
I had no way of knowing
The intent of my organs
Or that my heart would betray me forever
I did not know the ways
My eyes could be decieved
Or that beauty was often cruel
I did not speak of lies
I did not sing a sirens lullaby
I followed, and I was greatly misled
Bone crushing pain
I never meant to share
But the trick of fate
Is that pain will always be there
Truthful lips dripped honey
I thought on every word
I thought I spoke the truth
Then the stone hit the bird
Falling from my high
Like a mania calm down
I dropped into depression
As the stone hit the ground
