Before You

Before you

Before you
there was
nothing...
No life...
No light...

Just shadows
of an existence
vanishing
in the distance.

Then you appeared
and I was caught up
in the eye of your
hurricane.

My dimmed starlight
was consumed
by you and then it
exploded into
a supernova

Then a sudden calm
set in...and
the universe
took notice.

The eyes that
were once blurred,
are now
clearly in focus,
and you are
their soul
possessor.

Peace and
harmony
now eclipse
each other
as their orbits
unite as one.

Now...
after you

my existence
is satisfied,
as the
atmosphere
is rarefied

because of you...
