Before We Take a Beatdown
The streets have got me, gave up the monotony
Please don’t try and stop me, cause it’s you and not me
And now I’m buyin’, you won’t see me cryin’
Now I’m really flyin’, party’s now a fryin’
The sons are singin’, now my ears are ringin’
Company’s a stringin’, grillin’ and a blingin’
We all a cribbin’, nothin’ but ad libbin’
Eatin’ candy ribbon, tippin’ for the trippin’
But then I saw her, working on the corner
Gotta try and warn her before I have to mourn her
Cause she’s my sister, lookin’ for a mister
Gonna pop a blister, really gonna twist her
Here come the five-o, now she gonna dive, oh
Into the drive, yo, better she’s alive though
What is the reason, we sufferin’ this season
The air is just a teasin’, a thirst that just ain’t easin’
I’m gonna save her, call in every favor
Give up on this flava’, ain’t gettin’ any braver
We goin’ home now before we take a beat down
Gotta put our feet down, headin’ for the sweet ground
