Before We Go

Let's stay for a little while
Just before we go
I am smiling to your smile
In the evening glow
I can’t get enough of our
Mutual entertainment
Just a quarter of an hour
Of the sweet derangement
Share with me, my darling
Just before we go
Beckoned by the sparkling
Through the clouds that grow
Just two drowsy people
Lost in loving fun
Two minds getting feeble
Are better than one
My faith is rewarded
With the face of thee
A message you recorded
Says good night to me..

Erased some stupid lines in this one, added a nod to a Hoagy Carmichael song, which we both loved. Now the thing looks completed. Hope you like it, dear people.
