Before the Sun Goes Down

Before the sun goes down

Behind the mountains of the temporal

And onto the valley of the eternal,

My soul feels like singing

The joys and sorrows of life

From the dawn of my birth
 
Till the upcoming sunset of my

Existence...and beyond!*

* On the tenth of July 2022, I posted the above poem and announced
 that it would be in the introduction of my new book, " Before the Sun Goes Down. "
Now that the book is out and available on Amazon, I want to thank all
my PoetrySoup friends who, for almost eleven years, have honored me with their friendship and encouraged me with their comments. I wish you to know that I am grateful to you all. I also would like to thank PoetrySoup for allowing me to present my poetry. None of my four books would have been published without your support. God bless you.

PS: As I approach the eighth decade of my life, I would rarely post. It was an honor to be with you all these years. Thank you! BLESSINGS!
