Befor There Was You

Befor you i felt the emptyness and cold.
The sting reflected by thoose who
had grown bitter and old.

In desperation at times we cling to that which we
hold dear.
But passion warms the soul.
And love does erase the fear.

Befor there was you I never really knew me.
when were lost in depression.
At times we never truely see.

It's a struggle im willing to endure.
My heart is lost in a ocean.
Stricken by a beautiful sickness for which there
is no cure.

love is like a mist that covers the ground with dew.
Emptyness was my life.
Befor there was you.

Dedicated To the other half of my heart

Yes, John, "love does erase the fear." Without love, the empty feeling can make us "bitter." Once we find love, we have a new perspective on life. What a moving tribute to Julie! Great work! Love, carolyn
