Because you are mine

The sun rises slowly
a soft April glow
In peach cobbler ribbons
this morning to show

A new day is coming
so warm on the wind
Sweet rose petal whispers
to tell once again

Each dawn brings a vision
of beauty to see
and meadowlarks singing
in love’s melody

With dew drops a glisten
in cut crystal shine
Each morning is perfect
because you are mine

Top of The Evening Chris. Since you say morning (ha ha) how about having a champagne with orange juice toast. Skip the cobbler bring on the champagne (ha ha) I'm sorry Chris. I'm just kidding. Your entry is marvelous and always a wonderful way to begin the morning with love and appreciation for live and everything with it. Honestly. Have a wonderful night. Well done entirely. Now pass the champagne orange juice (ha ha)

That sounds good to me and FYI...here champagne and orange juice is called a mimosa and I do like mimosas. :) Almost as much as I like the uplifting and beautiful comments you always leave for me to find, morning or night. Beautiful rhyme as always, I was wondering about the title and there it was in the last line summing everything up nicely, good morning to you too!

Peach cobbler ribbons, so lovely, but for some reason it also makes me VERY hungly, I'd love some peach cobbler. Before Jason became my boyfriend, I had never heard of peach cobblers, but he sent me pictures of the ones he made himself, and ever since :) Good morning Chris, may she forever be yours!
