Beauty Was Your Name

I seem to recall Beauty was your name, At least I thought so, You appealed to me I wanted you, and You wanted me. Yes, I could tell, Your eyes betrayed you, Beautiful. Eyes smiling, now twinkling, I can tell. I shall call you love.

Well done, Milt. You've mastered so many forms. I can hardly find time to write a few poems a week in a few forms. You inspire me. Bill

Thank you so much, Bill. Actually, I'm an avid word game player, so I find many of the poetry forms to involve careful word play, i.e. terza rima, villanelle, etal. Then, I enjoy repeating lines, as in triolets and quaterns. I just love poetry, Bill, and now that I have nothing else particularly to do, I can devote most of my time to it. I appreciate your reads and your comments so much.

Yep. Thanks, Caren. I've been going through a sentimental spell. The SADD keeps trying to drag me down, and I keep fighting like the devil to keep my head up!
