Her life's a turn of pages
A melody in rhyme
Counted out in ages
Here from the start of time
Her world is one of wonder
Light in a darkened cave
Offers up the moment
Gives her soul away
Hidden in the meaning
Smoothness of the line
Gives back all she's taken
