Carol, I love this haiku, it is so real, I can almost hear the little sound they make as they fly to my feeder. Thank you for the comment you made on my poem,I appreciate any and all comments I get. Hi Carol I hope you are well, This poem makes me think I have spent another summer in England where each one 1 grows worse than the last and i have to face the fact that summer is over and it never even came but winter is. Another summer malnutrition drowned out the blooms and silenced the hummingbirds.
