Beauty Grand

Beauty Grand I have hiked many miles across this gorgeous land Without a single soul there to hold my hand My eyes feast scenic landscapes and secrets of the woods Butterflies and fruited trees so much of natures goods I never can express enough what nature means to me or just how much I love it sitting high up in a tree Walking in a valley green rolling hills abound or staring at the endless sky while laying on the ground My feet have traveled many miles enjoying beauty grand Mother Nature my companion as I walked upon this land.

What a lovely poem! Yes, Mother Nature is such a wonderful muse. I am just so concerned right now that our Republican congress has introduced a bill to terminate the EPA. :( I wrote a poem called "Mother Nature" when I first joined the soup which I hope you will read, Lenna.

There is no better companion to wander with than Mother Nature. She provides such beauty and comfort. Your poem does this as well Lenna. Beautiful and comforting and peaceful is what I felt while reading this. You are truly a lover of all things nature...it shows. :)
