Beauty

Oh beauty, where have you gone?
I sing for you at night, with tear soaking melodies
Oh beauty, why did you leave me alone again?
I’ll change my ways, to be with you
Oh beauty, my heart is inflamed by the fire of your eyes
My hands tremble with fear of losing you
Oh beauty, the ashes are back
And you are no where to be found
Oh beauty, turn me back to your right hand
Make me the apple of your eye
Oh beauty, why turn your back on me once more
What have I done to deserve the heat of your spark?
Oh beauty, hear my cry
My soul is torn in two, because of this heartless act
