beautifully delirious

...flirt with my demons,
tell them I’m beautifully delirious;
they know your name,
written with forbidden flares,
as I am fiercely drawn to you ~
amidst syllables
ink would never dare to scribble,
for if words could wound,
yours would cut through
these veins of want
in ways only the lips
     of poetry know how to breathe…

so let me ruin you with one last k i s s ,
and if this is the end ~
remember you
as my beloved moon;
this heart still keeps
seeking,
      tripping,
               aching,
as your auburn waves
taste these metaphors
in trembling silence,
with the soul-stirred
               heat of love unrepentant ...

~ let the galaxies be told... if they must know...
                      this is my language of love ~

This poem is so sensually sincere, and is the epitome of Gothic romance Poetess...a passion that requires total sacrifice. This poem is the poetic equivalent of Beethoven's sonnata! I'm awed by it's feel and grace...J.A.B.

It is a sincere poem dear Justin, it comes from my soul, its an ache I cannot erase, and I love moonlight sonata ~ sometimes I listen to sonatas when I write. Especially “ experience” … I am glad it awed you. Sending you light always

As a moth to a flame, we feel the heat but think only that we seek it, not that it could also burn us. A soul stirring write of love's language. It's often not what is said but a look that in the silence is understood. Your lines reveal that, Ink.

WOW!!! I enjoyed reading your wonderful "beautifully delirious" write. What a first line. Never flirt with them, they will bite back. Yes, words can hurt but loving words can heal. "Good Luck" If for a contest. Have a wonderful/blessed day writing away..............
