Beautiful Rebellion
She encompassed a fire within
Smoldering her tender heart
Her flesh, the barrier keeping it in
Emotions, the cause of its start
A beautiful Arabian who yearned to be free
But managed to stay on track
If she did anything, she did it passionately
Never gray, only white or black
Then one day her desires came to power
She abandoned the task at hand
Her thankless life had left her sour
The taste in her mouth was bland
She wanted to dance and taste sweet wine
The aroma of lavender surrounding
Eat purple grapes straight from the vine
Float on the water of which she was drowning
Her existence before, went up in flames
Bare feet atop the ashes
Boldly she took her own life by the reigns
Tossed the box of matches
