Beautiful Fall

Blue skies hover high above terra-firma
Empyrean wonder of a day, indeed!
Autumn glory is at its finest now, so are
Undulating snapdragons in the gentle breeze
Tall blades of grass are waving good morning to me
Isn't this the best season of them all?
Fields of wheat glisten like gold
Under the glorious afternoon sun. 
Leaves; long caged birds finally freed

Feel free to stay as long as you desire, 
Autumn. Your wind couldn't be more soothing. 
Lift my spirit to dizzying heights and
Lovingly tinkle the wind chimes to my heart's content
