Beneath the sky there are trees ablaze
Each with flaming leaves of red and gold
Autumn's fire dances in the wind
Umber leaves soon let go
Then sail away from glowing trees
In their descent the fire fades
Fading glory, trees left bare
Under a solemn autumn sky
Leaves are strewn all around
For now it's apple picking time
And carving Halloween pumpkins with impish grins
Let's take a taste of pumpkin pie
Look out for witches flying by!
