Thanks Earl:-) No they are just off the web - I have an extensive collection I really should take pictures of them I have 6 in flower at the moment and another 3 with flower spikes on - the flowers can last for up to 9 or 9 months so I always have colour:-) Maybe when I get a black orchid one I will stop but I've not managed to locate one on the island yet:-) hugs Jan xx

I adore orchids as house plants and carnations are my favourite cut flowers so I treated myself to some today - they are perfect for when the decorations come down and the sparkle and colour goes:-) hugs Jan xx

Move them to somewhere away from their normal place so there is a rapid temperature drop especially at night time - I have managed to get all my plants 21 plants to re flower most keep their flowers for around 8 or 9 months so I always have colour in my living room - some of my plants are about 7 or 8 years old if not older:-) hugs Jan xx

I have a bit of an obsession with them Lin I can't resist buying one in a colour I don't have - I bought a stunning vivid blue one then found it was dyed so it went back to the shop - i can't see the point when the natural colours are so so beautiful:-) hugs Jan xx
