Beating of the New Drums
Hear the beating of the new drums
A heavenly call for us to war dance
Hear the inner voice, let it guide
Us to our abiding reside
These new notes within us
Will shift away the mess
Breaking the old cycle of pain
Leading us to peaceful waters again
The good that we have sown
Will come downstream on its own
Bringing health and wealth in its wake
A new beginning, a fresh start to make
In this new season, decree the change
Let go of the past, let it rearrange
What we have seen in our inner heart
Will manifest in a brand new start
So run the good race, never quit
For in this journey, we will find rest
Let new songs break old cycles
For it is well with our souls
