Beast Chasing Beast
Safari land, a land of fun,
is a land for tourist stop-overs
It has beasts that chase beasts
one carves out territory
another eyes and comes
Tail in the air
teeth exposed for war
it comes full flight-
lions, hyenas, tigers, wolves!
And the mother of battles begins
beast chasing beast in Safari park
beast born, rises chases away beast
beast chasing beast
beast chasing beast
and the game continues
safari land become ogre-land
a fairy land of broken bones
the grass is crashed
trees scarred
air dump with battle
birds migrate from nests
rodents run away; tails chopped off
but scavengers move near
as the beasts remain entangled
in beastly games
with no end in sight!
