beacon's ray of hope
piercing dangerous darkness.....
ship's happy siren

guiding day and night
its god like presence shining....
smile in sailor's face

I know it was not a real lighthouse but I just couldn't think of a way to write about an actual lighthouse. (love the way you are stretching yourself these days to write so many contest poems!)
