I note your poem has been entered into the "lasting beach dreams of childhood days" contest. I like how your poem is simply written in a minimalist, almost child like style. But it's by no means a childish poem. Far from it.. You've proven Paula that poets don't have to go overboard with words to convey striking imagery. Good luck in the contest. Cheers - Gary

Lovely entry dear Paula. These childhood activities on the beach will be so green in every one's memories. I used to enjoy the silvery foam being thrown on to sand with every arriving wave..
